Integrating Open Educational Resources (OER) into a course can be difficult for faculty when they are unable to locate ancillary materials such as test banks or lecture notes aligned to their chosen open textbook. To make it easier for faculty at Iowa State and beyond to locate and adopt the OER that we publish, the Iowa State University Library and the Open Library of Humanities are developing a repository platform to share and link ancillary materials related to open textbooks published through the Iowa State University Digital Press, using the Janeway publishing platform.
This project will lead to improvements in Janeway’s preprint repository and books plugin. Organizing features will be added to the repository and enhanced metadata will be added to the books plugin, and the ability to link between materials in the repository and books plugin will be added.
This project is funded through the Iowa State University’s Affordable Course Materials Jumpstart Initiative and the Iowa State University Library.

This project seeks to share knowledge on the intersection of ethics and artificial intelligence with the Iowa State University community and the broader public. This will be done through two components: a university lecture with an external topic expert and an open access publication featuring an enhanced transcript of the lecture and essays contributed by Iowa State faculty, staff, and students.
This project will lead to a lecture from a topic expert in the area of ethics and artificial intelligence and an information hub in OpenISU, an Iowa State University Library publication on scholarly communication and digital scholarship.
This project is funded by the Iowa State University Library AI Strategic Initiative Funding.
